I ended underwent microdiscectomy surgery for a badly protruding disc. The surgery was completed in a little over an hour and I walked out of the hospital shortly thereafter. I am not one for hyperbole, but Dr. Sekhon, Greg Graves and the rest of the team at Nevada Neurosurgery have given me my life back. I am incredibly grateful and could not recommend them more highly. Kevin.

Two years ago, I had my back worked on with Dr. Sekhon. What a difference, I can do yard work and other things I couldn’t, without the help from Dr Sekhon, I would be sitting down all day not being able to live life. He is the best. everyone that had him operate on them have never had any issues. I couldn’t even get up to get a glass of water before I had my back cleaned out, no hardware. I cant say enough about him and his staff.

Dr. Sekhon and his staff are amazing
Dr. Sekhon and his staff are amazing. I had a s-4 s-5 laminectomy and discectomy. Who knew one of the United States top spine surgeons practiced in Reno? After spending almost a month in agony after re-injuring my back I’m now pain-free. Doctor Sekhon was very professional and showing me on my MRI what exactly my problem was and explaining how it could be fixed very simply. Even a non-professional like myself could understand what was going on on the MRI. After all this he asked if I had any questions I asked him how many times he’d done this surgery his answer was about 5000! I couldn’t think of any good questions after that… Have to comment about his anesthesiologist too on the day of surgery he came by to see me in pre-op. He clearly saw I was a little nervous about getting back surgery I mean who wouldn’t be? He said he would give me something to relax me he put something in my IV and the next thing I know I was waking up in post-op with the nurse saying it was all over! That’s how it should be done so you don’t have time to worry about stuff! Well done doc. Post-op instructions and visits were very well planned and clear instructions. If you have spine issues this is where you want to be. I went back to the VA after surgery and spoke to the patient advocate about my good experience and recommended that they send more people to Dr Sekhon. This very knowledgeable Doctor and his team are truly awesome
Thank you for this opportunity
Thank you for this opportunity to express my sincere appreciation to the entire staff at Nevada Neurosurgery.
The prospect of undergoing spinal surgery was terrifying for me, but rapidly-progressing and increasingly-incapacitating neuropathy made this decision necessary.
Dr. Sekhon’s confident, reassuring, and patient explanations allayed my fears. Curt Erickson, PA-C, thoroughly, patiently (and sometimes repeatedly), answered all of my many followup questions. And the front and back offices “ran with the precision and efficiency of a fine Swiss watch”.
I am most thankful that I entrusted this important decision to Dr. Sekhon and the entire staff at Nevada Neurosurgery.
My appointment with Dr. Sekhon
My appointment with Dr. Sekhon and his staff was a refreshing, very positive experience from all aspects in today’s overly regulated and complex medical system. From the initial appointment arrangements with his office staff to the actual visit itself with his medical support personnel to the session with the doctor himself, all was conducted with a very high degree of professionalism. Should the time come for further procedures, up to and including surgery, I would no hesitation to continue with Dr. Sekhon.
Dr. Sekhon and the entire
Dr. Sekhon and the entire staff are the best, all you could hope for in patient
concern and care, in how thorough they are in addressing your needs and questions,
and in making sure all aspects of your care are improved. I feel extremely lucky I
was referred to Dr. Sekhon who performed my very difficult laminectomy with
complete success. I would recommend him and the staff to anyone needing his skills.
I would have never thought,
I would have never thought, due to lack of insurance, to go see a surgeon to help me with the severe back pain I suffered from for more than 10 years!! After ending up in the hospital and the ER not being able to control the pain, Dr. Sekhon (who was not on call at the time) did my surgery NO QUESTIONS ASKED!! He is also being VERY GRACIOUS in working with me on making payments.
He and his staff are always very caring and treat me with the utmost respect. I would recommend Nevada Neurosurgery to ANYONE!!!
Thank you for taking away the pain I have suffered from for such a long time.
Totally a miracle!
Totally a miracle! People who have had similar back surgeries think I probably didn’t have “real” back surgery because my recovery was so successful. I was free of the original pain right from the start. I only had to recover from the surgical pain. I’m so glad I found Dr. Sekhon. I have to force myself to take it easy because I feel so “normal” I had L2 through L5 laminectomies and bilateral foraminotomies and results are amazing.
