  • November 2011:… Nevada Neurosurgery listed in Newsweek’s15 Leaders In Neurosurgery 2012.

    • November 2011:… Nevada Neurosurgery teaches an advanced spine surgery course in November, 2011 in Las Vegas for spine surgeons throughout the country.

  • November 2011:… Nevada Neurosurgery chairs the November, 2011 Posterior Cervical Reconstruction Course in New Jersey. for spine surgeons throughout the country.
  • October 2011:… Nevada Neurosurgery teaches an spine surgery course in October, 2011 in Toronto for Residents and Fellows throughout the country.

  • September 2011: Lali Sekhon of Nevada Neurosurgery is included in SpineUniverse.com’s “Best of the Best” list (see Yahoo News Report in Attachments).
    • Nevada Neurosurgery and Nevada Neurosurgery are spearheading ThinkFirst in Northern Nevada, a local chapter of a National Organisation promoting head and spinal cord injury prevention.
    • Dr. Sekhon runs the quarterly Posterior Cervical Complex Spine Surgery Symposium with Nuvasive. This is a hands on-course run every 4 months. This course was run inNew Jersey with 6 surgeons doing an all-day hands on course.

      • Dr. Sekhon teaches residents and fellows in Neurosurgery and Orthopedic Spine Surgery at the Science+ Spine + Management Symposium, Miami Florida, April 28th- April 30th, 2011
        • Dr. Sekhon is appointed as a Fellow of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (FAANS)

  • Dr. Sekhon is recognized as a member of The Cervical Spine Research Society, an invitation-only orthopedic group actively advancing the management of cervical spine disorders.

  • Nevada Neurosurgery is involved in teaching surgeons throughout the country at a complex spinal surgery symposia in Scottsdale Arizona. The symposium was entitled: “Decision Making Strategies in the Aging Spine” on January 28-29th, 2011
  • Dr. Sekhon receives Patients’ Choice Award 2011-12 award. He has received this 3 years running. (see attachments)
  • Nevada Neurosurgery publishes on spinal cord injury regeneration (see attachments)
  • Dr. Sekhon publishes in the latest guidelines on the treatment of spinal fractures (see attachments)

  • Dr. Sekhon involved in further Prestige training throughout the US
  • Dr. Sekhon manages a local man with a severe head injury who returns to playing baseball
  • Dr. Sekhon is awarded the ‘Patients’ Choice’ Award by MDx Medical Inc.
  • Completes groundbreaking research on BMP and cervical fusions- due to be presented in Q3 and A4 nationally
  • Dr. Sekhon receives AMA Physician’s Recognition Award with Commendation again
